Purpose: To move on from Autodesk products
The challenge: At the beginning of 2020, we at ABCreative were looking to move on from using Autodesk products like 3D Studio Max for our 3D visualization. The Autodesk licensing situation has become unmanageable. Rising prices and changing agreements meant it was time for a change. Many 3D animation products are available, but Blender won our attention, and we are glad it did so. As a terrific Dutch product, it offers everything other expensive 3D software offers, supported by the most impressive and responsive online community of users. Ton and his Blender team in Amsterdam are just outstanding! We made these test scenes the final stages of our journey of discovery. ABCreative loves using Blender for 3D modeling and 3D rendering!
